Our dying to be updated website is here: http://www.eq2holymight.net

Holy Might is an easy going group of folks on Butcherblock, a raid and casual guild mix.

First of all, and most important, I've been told to ask for one charming Scot or Irishman for ventrilo. We're trying to collect a set of multicultural male accents on vent. I heard we get an in-game prize if we do.

So, on to the other, not so swoony, stuff:

Casual side is always open for recruitment to anyone who can keep within the general spirit of the guild charter.

In a nutshell: don't be a big dope. Or, be a big dope, just don't act on it. We're ok with that. Dorks are a-ok. Geeks and nerds are welcome. In fact, extra points for nerdiness, as long as it doesn't extend into aggressive-know-it-all nerdland. People who get all tense if you call the Warden Epic a Bath'leth, or mistakenly call their garb a costume, please don't apply.

Raid side is open for recruitment as well - check in with Shuu, Audra, Doomey, Valltor, Wyce or Puppydog (raid leader - often on an alt) for latest requirements, since they raid more than I do currently and have a clue. I'm gonna guess we need um... I dunno, a mystic, dirgey types, caster dps. We always need those.

Generally if you're a good player with a good head on your shoulders, we're open to finding a way to work you in somehow or another. We're about halfway through current tier raid content. Depends on the mood of the raid leader where we go and what we're doin. We're there to have fun. Sort of like "hurry up and slow down," we like folks who are serious about raiding, but laid back enough to not lose their minds over the little stuff.

The guild members are pretty patient, tolorant folks. Audra, Shuu and myself are the guild leaders. Shuu and Audra keep things classy. I'm a spaz. It keeps people on their toes.

Guild is level 90, guild hall is t3 and stuffed full of cr...nice stuff!

Most of us are:

- between 25-40, with a few younger, a few older (RL years that is, not in-game level)

- readers, with a few who believe books are for holding doors open.

- beer lovers

- tea drinkers/coffeeholics

- "old-timers" with EQII, some EQI... some multiboxers. We're an old guild, so we've kinda weathered all that wild "party like it's 1999" energy from t1 & t2. Only it was like, 2005. But anyway.

- not fans of drama. Been there, done that. See above.

THEY are:

- obsessed with seeing my toons die.

- creative, amusing, patient, and tolorant folks. Except when it comes to the "always trying to kill me" part.

It's probably because I slack off on guild website updates.

So, if you can excuse the front page that was updated around, I dunno, February, then please feel free to browse our site & if you feel the guild is a good fit for your personality and play style, register on the forums and toss in an app.

If for some reason your registration takes an eon to go through, shoot me an email ninibi at gmail.com and I'll get you set up.

Happy Hunting!

Looking for a little bit of everything at the moment, the LU kerfluffle sent a few on game Vacation.

Probably fine on tank types (sk or bruiser might work), but scouts, healers, and mages we've got plenty of room.

Lookin for a couple Chanters for the raid force, either variety will do.

Healery types - maybe a couple of those, as well.

Nin your slacking!! You promised us Irish or Scot accented male on vent!! *checks to make sure hubby isn't reading this* Yup I'm safe, now where's the yummy new accent??

On a different note, I've been with Holy Might for a year now, and I have to say this bunch really makes the guild feel like 'home'. I don't think I could have found a better guild, even if I was willing to switch servers!! Stop by our guild site and say hi, you never know, you might just find that we're your brand of crazy

We've finished up most of the easy mode content and are starting to work on the hard mode encounters. We could use a few more raiders of any class to fill out our ranks (Enchanters get free beer, I've heard).

We raid Tue/Thur/Fri 7-11 PM PST with first call at 10 PM.

We're always open to casual apps of any level, as long as you like to have fun.

*bump* The regular changing of the guard has occured and we're short a few folks in the raid force. Wyce is our raid leader and can fill anyone interested in on what we're looking for - as it varies from time to time. Probably not tanks, likely some dps, the usual buffers and maybe a healer or two.

Casual side is always open for any class and level. We love decorators and creative types - provided it's not the tantrumy fainting-goat drama queen creative type.

We're not a RP guild per se, but we welcome RP'ers and enjoy the creativity and interaction with them. Vampires will have their fangs blunted if they run around biting guildies, just a heads up.

Come join our comfortable little 'burrough' in Norrath. We're laid back, easy going folks.

Casual side always open to all levels. Please register on our forums and toss in an app. We enjoy rp'ers, though I admit we're pretty new to it, it is something to explore in the game and welcome.

Raid force is looking for some healage, a swash and a few other odds and ends. See Wyce in-game for his "most needed" list, but generally we try to work with folks who make a good fit, vs. being heavily class specific.

We're farming the x2 on short nights, Kraytoks when we have 3 or more groups (on third name), HoL I think on nights we have more healers. We're not moving terribly quickly, but we are moving, so we're happy.

If you'd like to casually check out the guild and meet folks, we'll be doing a Qeynos homeshow tour this Saturday at 3pst. We'll be meeting in the Holy Might Guild Hall off Antonica. We have folks with houses all over, but have found the tours get REALLY long, so we've split it up to different cities...this month Qeynos, next month another city. Come join us and check out some houses while you're at it. If only we could offer you a real latte, too!

Long overdue update!

We're looking for buffery goodness in the raid force, and a tree hugger of the wardeny sort.

Could use a few more dps, check in with our raid leader Wyce for specifics... magey types are probably preferred at the moment.

DoV release content on farm status. Numbers permitting, we're working on HM mobs in those zones.

We're looking for folks with as much crit mit as they can slather on themselves, 250 AA, mastered.

If you are in the process of leveling and gearing a toon, talk with one of our officers. We may invite you to join as a casual member until we can make sure you won't be imploding every time a giant sneezes. We do this for your own good. As they've mopped Brigand blood splatter of any room I've been in on a raid, I know how frustrating this can be for both the raid and the raider.

Casual side:

Always open, no level requirements. We just ask you abide by the guild charter. We welcome rp'ers, but the majority of us are "half in/half out" so we could not be considered an rp guild.

Check out our site at eq2holymight.net to look it over and see if the guild feels like a good fit, then, register on our forums and toss in an app!

See you soon!

Nin
