I just rolled a mystic cause I wanted an endgame healer with a shot at raiding and began using BG's to lvl and save tokens for lvl 90 . Began pvpin inthe 50,s and immediately it became apparent that the wards do not apply to relic damage , or am I trippin and just not paying close enough attention ? So for this game a warder is half a toon ? Or has this been addressed allready and being fixed ?

Wards do not apply to relic damage.

yup, relic does focus damage and wards don't prevent focus damage, so they don't help when you: take a hit from the relic, a necro lifeburns, get hit with focus based AEs (some scripted AEs) in SF, etc

Yes I have gone from the 50,s to now lvl 79 and the disparity between my heals and a wardens I watched grow as I lvled till now the same guy out heals me 2-3 times my amount , hard to get off a spell makes it no better . I figure that will change at 90 . I guess thats a wrap though huh ? Not gonna change ... like to heal in BG's roll a warden eh ?

I am one of the best healers in BG. I don't lose a Gears match often at all on my healer. The only time I have any trouble at all is when I run out of power, or when my tank is a t@rd. One trick, if you can swing it, is to make the person with the LOWEST HP in your group the relic holder. The relic damage is percentage based.

In the end, healing the relic holder is such a small portion of the BG experience that it just doesn't matter.

Warden's have Heals-over-time, Mystics have Wards.. A Warden is going to out heal you in BG if he or she has the relic.

Kindred spirit is your friend if you want wards to "heal" :p
