Reinstalling

<p>I have been thinking about coming back to EQ2, but I'm having some problems. I've reinstalled via the website's "Get the Game" > "Reinstall EQII" link. It's still loading some files, but I'm able to play on a trial account (trying it out again before I make my decision). However, I keep getting the following error message:</p><p><verify> E:liveeq2frameworkrendersrcDDSTexture.cpp(240):!"Unknown DDS texture flags" 00998945</p><p>Will this go away once everything has finished loading? This is a constant problem, and I'm not going to pay a subscription for a practically unplayable game. Any help is appreciated!</p><p>Myr</p>

<p>Hmmm...That's a C++ error and could get complicated.  Frankly, I think you should <a href="http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bin/soe.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=10404" target="_blank">put in a ticke</a>t, as it's a much more efficient way to look at some diagnostic files.  If you PM me the reference number, I'll pull the ticket and get you moving.</p>
