When you are on your regular server, type /save_keymaps [keymapname]

Once you get into Battlegrounds type /load_keymaps [keymapname]

Should only have to do it after patches, but they occasionally reset when you go into the options window, too.

P.S. Who's Dumas and how do you know he caused it?

This bug should be fixed when GU57 goes live.

Every time I log into the game I have to reload my keymaps. Not sure why. Also I have to open the options window and then close it again by clicking accept, or else the control button will trigger my push to talk.

Lastly... one of my bank windows is always the wrong size and I have resize it the first time I open my bank on every character.

Lol I had the EXACT same problem with the keymaps/control key.. What i did was save the keymaps file and then

open eq2.ini and put in

cl_keymaps_file [whatever]

[whatever] being the name of your keymap file

then when you load eq2 it autoloads that keymap file..

Should we have to do this? No. It's a bug, should be fixed, but at least doing this resolves the annoyance.

The 19th century author who wrote such melodrama as The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers?

That would be Dumas pere, the father. But now you could be referring to Alexander Dumas fil, his son... also a writer, but not as well known as he focused more on stage plays that did not resonate as well with future generations as the works of his father.

You meant that Dumas, right?

Dumas.
