I have several characters who are missing various holiday check points when I have completed them in the past. You can see the completed quests in my journal too.

But when I petitioned for the worst offender (my oldest toon who shows all completeds last year) but isnt showing up except for Frostfell, I got a GM response "It looks like you will have to redo them".

I find this unnaceptable. I put the time and effort, paid my sub and should have the achievements checked off. I did Tinkerfest because I thought it was my final one, and I look to see to my chagrine that all the holidays are not checked off (except frostfell).

Im at a loss, I rotate 6 accounts and this is my main one. I can see the holiday quests in my journal as completed from last year. I know I should have them checked off. I have other toons who did their quests last year and have the events checked off properly, and a few others who I need to petition.

But I cant abide a GM response to do them over again with no explanation as to why, it defeats the purpose, Ive already achieved the checkpoint.

Do I need to call CS on Monday? What to do? With a Gm response like that it makes me not want to play these events anymore. I paid a 3 day pass just to finish this character and Im getting pooped on. :/

you can call them but suspect it might be the same response, as with out achievements some where not made rectroactive and you had to go back and do it again to get the achievement credit

That achievement was not retroactive -- if you have not done the events for the various holidays since the achievement was added, you will not get credit for it. It should only take doing one quest for each holiday to get credit.

I discussed this with a GM again in game and the reason I said last year was because my quest journal showed them done in 2009. BUT, thats not right and the GM has sent my information to the appropriate people, though they couldnt help me yet, maybe the fix on my quest journal will in time.

I have the new 2010 recipes for this year on Bristlebane, and did the Ratical quest, along with the others new this year, but did not get the year updated to 2010, it shows 2009. This is why I think I am not getting credit, the repeatable quest at least isnt showing the right year so the achievement wont update right as a result.
