<p>so, will this crit healing change, where fighters are no longer allowed to crit heal, do anything to taps? I think taps crit if the damage crits... will that no longer be true?</p><p>And why does the heal crit have to be "heal potency"? Why couldn't it just be "potency"?</p>

Xelgad Said on the test forum some where that the heal part of the Tap will not crit. as for the rest i dont know sorry.
<p>I think you will find, my Shadow knight duckies, that any heals you have will no longer crit, that means all of them and also means for every fighter class, monks included. xD</p>

<p>I'm guessing that when this goes live, it'll outshadow the outcry will overshadow the free to play option by a longshot.</p>

<p>I just got off EQ2X and the spell descriptions explicity state that heal portion will not crit. Keep in mind EQ2X is GU57.</p><p>Though I think this has a much larger impact on Paladins and Zerkers and I play both those as well.</p><p>Oh, you are just gonna love the new spell graphics if they remain the way they are.</p><p>They're horrible. I am so flustered, a huge step backwards. Looks like my 3 year old created them. I know its a lame reason but I have no desire to play the SK because of this. You have to see the jolly roger like graphic a lot of the spells/ca's cause: It's truly as if a 3 year old drew them.</p><p>Can only hope these are place holders, sure as heck ain't gonna impress people trying EQ for the first time.</p><p>F2P is already having a negative impact on the game and its not released yet. Also I don't think a lot folks will be very interested in this implementation of F2P. For one thing you can't play a Crusader for free. Several classes and races require a fee. Accessing the broker requires a fee.</p><p>I personally don't think they're doing F2P very well. Too much nickle and diming on features required in the game. LOTRO I believe will be offering the kind of stuff we see in SC now not stat items, nor classes, nor races. I do think LOTRO will restrict some zones though.</p><p>Yes EQ2X allows you to buy stat items. Mastercrafted gear shows up when you reach the approapriate level: 2, 12, 22, etc.</p>
<p>well it hurt pal and zerker more then us since most of our lifetap already can't crit.</p><p>While raiding the healing amonth of an SK is fairly low compared to inc damage (dont listen those fool claiming that SK out heal priest in raid). And most of our healing can't crit actualy so it doesnt hurt us a lot.</p><p>the area where it will hurt us the most will be while soloing for both PvP and PvE, grouping wont get it as bad since you should already have a healer anyway, but he will have a little more job.</p><p>This nerf is stickly a PvP nerf. Fighters are too tought in PvP and well. instead of changing the game emchanic only in BG they nerf fighter for in both PvP and PvE.</p><p>Yeah this game does look like WoW a little more everyday.</p>

EQ2 and WOW are both great games. This game actually has very little in common with WOW when it comes to combat mechanics.</p>

<p>The new Sk spell effects are 100x WORSE than the live ones. Very cartoonish. They actually don't even seem to perform better. The skull and crossbones effect is ridiculous. Not only does it appear eveytime a lifetap is triggered, it appears over the heads of your foes as well.</p><p>The only thing positive i can say is that now the animate faster so combat animation is a little more fluid and you attacks animate more frequently.</p><p>Everyone feedback this, because I will be [Removed for Content] if they push this crap live.</p>
