View Full Version : Are my power problems in BG related to Yaulp?

My 75 inquisitor is pretty active in T8 BGs, but because of the low T8 BG population, Ganak usually pops with just 5 to 8 people, mostly crusaders and zerkers. Because those classes can heal themselves very easily, I turn on Yaulp for the 20% double attack chance and join in as a debuffer and DPSer during fights, spot-healing when I need to. However, whenever I DO heal, they cost tons of power and I'm drained after just a couple minutes. It got to the point where I reset my Character Development to change the 2.5% power increase to the 5 in-combat power regen. That helped just a bit, but I want to know if Yaulp is even worth it. It boosts up the power cost of all my beneficial spells and I'm at range casting debuffs and punishments half the time.

Do any of you other inquisitors use Yaulp in BGs? I'm sure I'll have to go full healer once I get to a more diverse tier (if they exist), but is Yaulp worth the power cost of heals when you're in close range fights?

I'm too chicken to drop in BG T9 (I'm 90/250/Mastered/No-PvP Gear) but I do know that when I group (as you do) that if you don't have those 5 points in fanticsm reduce power cost in Inq AA and 5pts on Inquest placed on someone actually casting/attacking at an appreciable rate with Inquest on them I'm hurting on power.

As for yaulp, I don't find it hurts me more than fanticism. The two on together without inquest going to town is bad mojo.

I only have power problems if I heal..

Using zarrakon belt, corruption of elements charm, and inquest on myself , running yaulp and fanaticism, the power doesn't go down too fast unless i start casting a lot of heals. Inquis not really supposed to be a full time heal class, although with the TSO aas, the new SF aa and the new gear, it is a very good healer.

I prefer to play my inquis as it was meant to be. DPS/buff/Debuff/cure/procs and heal occasionally.
