Like what you read here, but not in a guild? The Fallen Legion is always happy to welcome new players through our existing Apprenticeship program! Visit www.TheFallenLegion.org to learn more.

To My Fellow Everfrost Guild Leaders:The population of our world is in decline, and we see fewer and fewer souls plying adventure in Norrath. There are however those enclaves of comrades who have, for some time, banded together as a small cooperative group. Yes, there are vast powerhouses of the strongest adventurers, who hold mythical implements and challenge foes only fought with twenty men or more, but these organizations are a different breed than ours.I send forth this open missive to the small groups of Everfrost who want to continue to work together with long time friends and family, but who may not have access to the greatest resources or adventurer base. Our group is small compared to some (37 unique accounts) but we are close-knit and enjoy working with others, regardless of guild alignment. To you, my fellow leaders, who believe there is more to the game than raiding, and more to adventuring than level or loot, and who believe a great time can be had with humor and cooperation and without discrimination and offensive language, I invite you:I invite you to entertain the idea of a merger. The Fallen Legion has been in constant operation for five and a half years, and has consistently demonstrated unflagging dedication to fairness, honesty, and integrity above all else. We are not powergamers and we are not raiders. We are a diverse group that genuinely enjoys playing across all levels and zones, and supports a wide range of playstyles. We are governed by the Council of The Five, a democratic body that ensures the voices of the members are heard and respected, and that no single person holds domination over the direction of the group.I have had the privilege of serving as Chief Administrator for the past four years, and have made the guild's mission my top priority. Our rules are simple and few, and are codified in our Articles of Charter, available at www.TheFallenLegion.org.We are a Level 85 guild with a Tier 3 Guild Hall in Antonica, featuring many amenities including an outstanding transportation system, ample harvesting and crafting resources, and more. Our playtimes are wide-ranging, as we have members from all over the world, primarily from the central and eastern United States and from the United Kingdom. The method of guild merger I propose, openly and transparently to anyone interested, is thus:1. In order to take full advantage of our very high level and many amenities, The Fallen Legion will serve as the primary guild.2. The Guild Leader of the absorbed guild will be promoted within The Fallen Legion to "Council of The Five Elect" (second-highest rank in the in-game system). Upon conclusion of the merger period, should there be more Council Elect members than available Council seats, the Council will be expanded and Elect members promoted to the highest (guild leader) rank.3. The Members of the absorbed guild will be promoted within The Fallen Legion to Legionnaire (full member rank without probation; refer to the guild website for information on our rank system), with full rights and privileges as any other full Legionnaire.4. Upon merging, the incoming Guild Leader will collaborate directly with the Chief Administrator to ensure as many traditions and aspects of the incoming guild as are possible are integrated into the new, fused guild. If your guild is small but your hearts immense, your numbers few but your humor wide, or your guild modest but your pride collosal, I invite you to entertain the idea of putting our forces to work together.I realize that "guild merger" is a loaded phrase in our world, and that too often petty differences, lacking communication, and a feeling of disenfranchisement sours the process. I pledge, as a long-time leader, as a professional educational leader, and as someone who genuinely believes that cooperation and collaboration yield greater results than insulation and isolation, that I will personally assist in the process and do everything I can to ensure that legacies, families, and traditions are observed, venerated, and included.

Indeed, we've done it before!

I invite you to contact me via in-game mail should you be interested in working together.Respectfully yours,Sesketh EkalibisChief AdministratorThe Fallen Legion
