Various races in armor?

<p>Trying to choose a race, but am having problems.</p><p>Was wondering if anyone had a place with various armors and the races that wear them?</p>

<p>What kind of armor you get is based on your class, not your race.</p><ul><li>Plate tanks and clerics wear plate armor.</li><li>Scouts and shaman wear chain armor.</li><li>Brawlers and druids wear leather armor.</li><li>Casters wear cloth armor.</li></ul><p><a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Race/Class_Comparison" target="_blank">The various races have slightly different starting stats</a>, but these differences melt away in just a few levels.</p>

Though, since I can't really decide on a race (being the incredibly indecisive person I am) I'm letting it come down to appearance. Wanna see how various races fill out the armors.</p>

<p>I don't know of a website, but at character create you could choose race/class and see basically how each looks in the starter armour (Shadowknight for plate, Brigand for chain etc).</p>

<p>If you enjoy the unique class specific hats I would steer clear of Sarnak, as nearly all of them do not show up on that race.</p>

<p>I'd suggest hanging out on the docks in Antonica and Commonlands and watching the parade of people coming by heading to guild halls to see what they're wearing. Or wait in one of the areas where raids form just outside the popular raid zones.</p>
