Just finished digital download. will not get past login attempts on 1-9 and back again. I dont need any other signs telling me it was a bad idea. If this is how Sony is keeping this game afloat, it should be deep in the abyss by now.

this game normally runs fine unless its being updated. did you check you computers settings, is you firewall blocking it, try running it as an admin, ect.

You do realise it was probably server downtime, right?

By what you describe, sounds like servers were down.

They are currently up and running fine.

make sure that your current virus protection program is allowing this to go thru.

Make sure you are running as administrator

Just because the servers show online via the network status doesn't mean the Login servers are up.

If you are still having this problem with the looping login servers 1-9, then the problem lies with your connectivity, and nothing on Sony's side. You have a router or firewall or something stopping you from reaching the servers. Some anti-v software "protects" you like this. Windows UAC can "protect" you also sometimes.

Most often tho it's your router/firewall sitting in your house.

See this post for relevant port information needed to connect.

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=422517
