<p>Greetings,</p><p>Have searched forums but not this specific one, only similar problems so here goes:</p><p>Message (note that E: is empty. I only use it as paging file disc):</p><p>"Fatal Error</p><p>EverQuest II has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown.</p><p>E:liveeq2frameworkrendersrcVeShader.cpp (10223)</p><p>  m_pPixelShader</p><p>00939950"</p><p>End of message pop up box.</p><p>Other info:</p><p>Windows 764bit - Amd Athlon II x4 630 2.8ghz processor - 4gb ram - Ati radeon HD 5700 series 3gb - directX 11 -</p><p>Streamer launcher (about 12.5gb left to download)</p><p>Get message after the following:</p><p>1. Start launcher</p><p>2. Click play</p><p>3. Full screen with picture from game. Little dinosaur in bottom right showing mb-numbers going up and down. Following messages in bottom right corner: Loading zone resources 100% - Creating entity resources - loading entity resources - crash shortly after with the pop up message described above.</p><p>The suggested crashfile and crash.log in sticky "Read before posting" thread was not found however I found an Alertlog that ill paste at the end of this post.</p><p>I am in Thailand.</p><p>Please let me know if more info is needed. <p>there was a limit to how big the file could be and I noticed later that probably only the last lines are of interest. <p>I'm just going to go out on a limb here, but ...</p><p>"<span >Streamer launcher (about 12.5gb left to download)" leaves me to suggest that you should wait a bit until it finishes downloading.  Yes, the streamer <em>should </em>work, however since you're having an issue that seems to be happening when it's loading the zone, I think that patience will resolve the issue.  I had some issues with the streaming launcher when I reinstalled the game.</span></p>

And then 2 days with problems following. Can only speculate how long 12gb would take (although I'm sure I don't need it all to start) <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>The only reason for me to try trial out is to see if I can play it or not from my house in Thailand as I have problems with some other online games.</p><p>So my own solution to this is to try Direct2drive and order the game from them. Perhaps they have a different download manager that works better for me. It's affordable indeed so if I can't download from them in reasonable time it's ok. Not much money to loose. <p>Hi all!</p><p>Bought the game from direct2drive. These errors are now gone. However, the file from direct2drive wasn't full client but instead linked to soe's download... Ah well, it was rather fast this time and playable!</p><p>Still on streaming however and it takes forever to download everything.  And now game crashes very very often. All my 3 characters crash upon loading. GMs are on it and TSRs as well but it takes some time. I guess it may have to do with streaming launcher, meaning still a lot of files are missing. I hope that is the case anyway.</p><p>For now, let's consider this thread as "Solved"</p>
