Wasn't sure where else to post this so I figured I'd put it here...

The item listed in the subject is a fighter neck/wrist peice. However the item has a healer proc on it "Shielding Presence". With that said the items proc is only useful by Paladins and not the entire fighter class.

Shouldn't this proc effect be changed to a tank proc? My suggestion woudl be a Stonewill proc. Any thoughts?

aITEM 445650183 -128297340:Gorget of the Seal Guardian/a

Pretty sure this will work for monks as well, even though they won't care for it in the first place. IMHO, this effect should proc on caster per combat hit rather than on a healing spell. As a side node, i still think it is unfortunate that the Shadowknights life taps do not count as heals... yeah, i know, SKs are overpowered anyway, but it would still make the class more interesting...

They could just change the proc to work on a combat art or spell... that way it covers all fighter classes.

The other option would be to make it proc when you RECIEVE a heal. As it states multiple casters can stack the effect, that could prove very useful in a raid situation if you have 2 or 3 healers throwing heals at you. Of course, that also has the chance of making it overpowered.

Still not a horrible item stat wise but I woudl really like to see the proc adjusted. While I like all the suggestions so far on the post i think the most obvious is still to swap out the healilng proc for an appropriate Stonewill proc for tanks since its deffensive in nature.

Remove the effect and replace the effect with the tinkered "Noxious Environmental Suit" effect or similar type of effect maybe physical or elemental damage instead.

"This effect converts 3% of all noxious damage into power gain"

This makes it a decent neck for any fighter and considering this neck lacks the dps gain of high potency necks. This makes this neck unique and actually a defensive version.

seen some feedback from peers on the post but nothing from devs, should i be taking this up in a different forum?

potentially there is some place to put these sort of item issues and they are sorted out as time allows since i know they have larger issues to adress most of the time
