Server bandwidth?

<p>I heard from a few people who have lag issues, that BG is actually using bandwidth from 5 game servers. Is this true??? If so... then why doesn't BG have its own server. I have lag in BG at times as well as in my PVE server.</p><p>Why do we get screwed over in our home server just to run BG if this is true???? Is sony so cheap that they can't buy new equipment with our subscription money/station cash/etc.....</p>

<p>The better question is why would you ever believe anything said in chat on any server.</p><p>Are your friends with lag issues secretly soe employees? Because I dont see details about their server clusters being posted anywhere.</p><p>Oh, and never underestimate the cheapness of soe.</p>

<p>Not sure about the number of servers but I do know that it takes some bandwidth from certain zones and tries to balance the load and its actually much better now than it was. Remember when Antonica (and other zones) were getting hit really hard with lag spikes after BG's opened up? That was caused by people zoning back from the BG server amongst other things to do with BG.</p><p>Give it a couple of years they will get it ironed out so you wont notice it.</p><p>They really don't need new equipment, its all in the coding. You may notice an improvement in the near future as they slowly remove more content to streamline the New Gamers Experience. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>No.. they are guild mates.. and they have been in tickets with gm's for the past 2 months... don't be so quick to be negative and jump to conclusion.</p><p>I was just curious no need to negative flame me for anything... and it's possible they are looking for a reason to move on... so they may just blame soe.. so whatever... LOL</p><p>A couple of years..haahahaha I doubt people have patience to wait a couple of years..</p>
