Everyone,

I don't pretend to understand what happened, but I found something that does work. It seems that the game does not like my 'assetcache' folder in the way it was, and will work fine if I rename the folder to 'old assetcache' of course this means that now I am downloading the whole game again, but at least it works now.

Good Luck,

Kanaric

Thanks for this!

It may take a while to re-download everything, but that's not so bad since you can play at the same time.

Ahh.. ya don't have to delete the entire folder or rename it.. just delete the file.. asset1.vdb .. it cuts down on your " re-download " or files to make Streaming Client run again.

Tried the suggested fix, no joy. Hoping I won't have to delete and redownload the entire assetcache directory.

EDIT: Just got through to SOE tech support, they're aware of the problem, it's a bug in the launcher, and they're working on a fix, no ETA on it. Something to consider before deleting and having to redownload several gigs of data.

I'm going to close this thread and point everyone to the Launcher Issue? thread, since the dev team is respoding over there.

A fix has been pushed out, but please post there if you are still having problems.
