Transfering EQ2 folder

<p>Wondering if its possible to transfer copy the EQ2 folder or if it has to be installed? Or if it can be down as a shortcut vs having to download and reinstall everything. I'm looking to reformat my HD but downloading eq2 is ages for me, wondering if can transfer to my second harddrive and if will work or work with minimal download/installing vs many many gigs.</p><p>Thanks</p>

<p>You can copy it to a new location no problem.  99.9% of those gigs are just content.  Make sure your patcher/launcher knows where the new location is, otherwise it will create the folder structure in the old location and start downloading again.</p><p>The only thing you might have to install again is the launcher (launcher.station.sony.com) to get your icons in the right places, but even then I'm pretty sure it works fine after a copy also if you want to create your own shortcuts to the executables.</p>
