[Removed for Content]! 15 bucks for that cloak! HA HA HA!

They just convienently more than doubled the price for a cloak, compaired to the 7 bucks for the Emerald cloak.

So after the ridiculously priced mounts of 25 bucks. They now gonna double the price on this kind of stuff.

Amazing. Simply amazing.

The picture shows the Purple Flower Effect AND has a Leaf Blown Effect. Does this cloak indeed produce both of those Effects together or since the Character is also wearing what looks to be [Wayfarer's Boots] are the boots producing the Purple Flower Effect and the Cloak is only providing the Leaf Blown Effect?

Speaking of the [Wayfarer's Boots], the Pants that are shown look to be a match for the boots .. Any chance someone could ask Windslasher why he didn't (or if he could quickly add) the entire matching outfit to the boots on the Vendor at the Druid Rings?! Pretty Please!

15 bucks for a cloak is pretty ridiculous. Also please stop putting stats on SC stuff, even if its something silly like featherfall.

Put all the stats you want on these items. Just lower our monthly subscription cost in return.

Enjoy the option to purchase and if its too much....... just ignore it. Seriously, no matter how hard you make a grind/quest you cannot make an item exclusive in game. Just look at that [Removed for Content] Rime horse. That is about as annoying an item as you can put in game to get and they are a dime a dozen.

Honestly, This new cloak is cool for (goodies) but I don't need to see it on every Tunare following wood elf. The best reasoning I can see for some of these items on SC is for some form of exclusivity. Just get over it people.

If you don't feel its a good deal then don't buy it. No reason to blast those who do. I happily bought my prowler mount. I have used it on three different characters on my account so far. Money well spent. It looks cool, is fast and prevented me from spending precious plat while leveling up toons. Said plats went toward masters/MC equipt. so that I didn't have to spend status/plats on a ride. When the time comes, maybe I'll do the Rime faction. But there is no rush with my cat harness in hand. Cash well spent IMHO.

My grip is good, Thanks for your concern.

That cloak should have been an item that could be purchased with "florets" for doing the druid ring reconstruction! You know, like we were offered a cloak during the Spires event... along with armor..... and a tapestry........

I like the look of the new cloak, but I really wish they made it without featherfall. A cheaper (say $5 or even $10) one with just the particle effect (and no slowfall) would be great. There's a crapload of slowfall cloaks already in game, so it's kind of unfortunate that this one is given that and priced accordingly when the appearance could have been sold in an appearance-only version for a bit less. Though it would be worth the $15 to me if it was just heirloom instead of attunable.

Is there an updated image of the particle effect available yet? I'd like to see it more clearly as well

Well, here's what the cloak and effects look like on me. Looks like some green grass, blueish/purpleish trees or something, and slithers of light going up. They trail behind you as you walk. Didn't notice any leaves or anything like the other image. Since I bought it using Station Cash from double cash weekend.. it's like it only cost $7.50.

Thank you, Mysstie!

blah! I was kinda hoping they messed up the pix and the purple flowers were from the boots.

I want a Leaf Effect for my Fury! The Wardens got that fun spell .. Furies get toxic fumes & hulu hoops!

Until the Druid ring event ends, the purple flower effect is really not that big of a deal since anyone with time to do a couple druid ring quests can have it for only (27) tokens, with the [wayfarer boots]. Though, at least the cloak can be turned on/off. With the boots I'm always having to figure out how to cancel it out on my various lowbies.

*if* it had had a way to give me a Leaf effect .. I'd have spent the SC. Even, though I really don't particularly like cloaks, nor do I need another featherfall cloak. But, now? meh.

My problem with the cloak is that it looks really nice zoomed in (within 4 steps of first person), with the symbol on the back color-shifting from blue to green, but once you get past that (which you will most likely be when actually playing the game), the color-shifting effect completely disappears.

i wish you could use it(for the nature effect) from the appearance slot. but NOO you have to equip it in your regular cloak slot use then rearrange =( and the dang thing looked GREEEN in the appearance window but when i wear it is YELLOW that was a big disappointment.

Mysstie

Well.. part of the problem with the appearance window, dressing room, and the Cut and Shave window is that the shade that appears there is not taking into account the in-game lighting effects or time of day. What looks like red hair in the Cut and Shave window can look like anything from almost purple to bright orange in the game. I've seen this cloak look anywhere from a pleasant green, to golden, to somewhat yellow. Look at the image I posted above.. certainly NOT yellow there. Just depends what zone I'm in and lighting effects going on.

Interesting how it can look anywhere from a verdant green to kind of a golden yellow. I wonder if they did that on purpose?

I also like the bright green / blue-tinged symbol... does it morph over time (ie the blue changing position) like that one SF robe does, or is it static?
