Just downloaded 14 day trial / streaming. Booted up, went to char creation screen. Comp has been running all day but completely shut down and booted up, fresh. After character graphics load up errors begin right away, dissapearing body parts, little tears of color, growing worse and spreading to text...i click clicked through to load a zone to see if i could escape to a readable screen with gfx tweak options, but by that time it was so garbled as to be indistinguishable from frozen. I think the zone was about half loaded.Running:--xp prof with service pack 3--evga nforce 780i motherboard--intel quad core q6600 2.4ghz --8gb ram (corsair, twin2x4096-6400c5 for half then as close to identical model 2 years later for the other 4)--dual evga factory overclocked 8800gtx (SLI off right now / evga precision reads core 621 out of 995, shader 1458 of 2336, memory 1000 of 1600. windows lists v6.14.12)--standard sound, network etc options. fios internetrelatively fresh install of windows. installed the 3 service packs, a standard pack of movie codecs, got motherboard drivers 15.46, installed gfx cards / drivers v257.21 (both off evga website), not really any hardware related jive go down on this computer besides that. i reinstalled from a wiped disc (came back several scans totally flawless)...had vista 64 before and saw similar gfx problems in all games. so far on this computer ive only tried crysis, got it to work for a short while then all went to hell when trying to tweak gfx and update it. ive found other than games this install of windows to be crash free, and only laggy [with nothing running] if its been on for long periods after lots of activity (though even then system resources show practicallly braindead level of use, so not sure what makes it slow still)I don't see a crash log, just an alertlog with many variations on:build="SOEBuild=6612L" version="SOEVersionString=2010/7/6 12:33:35" build_type="USER OPTIMIZED" ls_address="none" zone="ZoneScene::onOpen" loc=" 0.00 0.00 0.00" performance="3" alert="E:liveeq2gamegamecommonclientEqSpellCast.cpp(97): ERROR - Unable to load spell cast 'clientvdl/spellvisuals/spell_revamp/priest/mystic/eidolic_ward_tiered.vdl'."build="SOEBuild=6612L" version="SOEVersionString=2010/7/6 12:33:35" build_type="USER OPTIMIZED" ls_address="none" zone="ZoneScene::onOpen" loc=" 0.00 0.00 0.00" performance="3" alert="E:liveeq2frameworkvdlsrcVdlErr.cpp(85): (VDL Parser) *buffer*(0) : Error, File not found: clientvdl/spellvisuals/spell_revamp/priest/mystic/spirit_guide_tiered.vdli used to hear it was the 64 bit vista + the 8800gtx causing the problems, but now thats obviously not the case. any help would be appreciated. i did vaccuum comp out recently but it hasn't had a true compressed air blowout in like forever....i'd swear i read somewhere something so small can screw up electrical charges on gfx boards? will get some canned air while i wait for a reply

note: for some reason the included dxdiag and msinfo stuff make this post too long by a zillion characters!?! aren't these posted all the time? not sure how i would have compressed it any further than it is. will try posting in a separate section
