I'm a returning player after 3-4 years away.

I made an Arasai SK, simply because I like the "bred for hate" and I missed playing an SK, but I can't seem to find any threads about what traditions would be good for me. I've found plenty of guides for AA use, but none for traditions.

As I understand, I get 9 choices but more places to put them in. Are there any of them I shouldn't invest a point into?

There's no guide because the traditions are all very miniscule and will make no difference in the long run. Just read their descriptions and decide if they're going to impact you in any way given how you want to play the game. Some relate to tradeskills - if you have no desire to do tradeskilling then you can obviously skip those. Some add to your power pool or health pool or regen - those are useful, but by a miniscule amount. Some might increase your movement speed while stealthed - useless unless you group with someone that can stealth you or you use stealth potions - very situational and might be used 0.001% of your overal lifetime play as a SK. Etc.

The most important ones for an Arasai you're given at the top line. Glide, Windwalker, and your innate featherfall.

The 9 you choose between level 10 and 90 are up to you. You can't choose wrong if you read their benefits, really.

Thanks for clarifying that for me.

I'll look further into it, when the game works again.

The only real reasons to choose one race over another in this game, are the innate abilities you get on the top line. Every toon I have is either Arasai or Fae, because of glide, windwalker. The rest of that stuff is so laughably nothing, that even bothering to train them is sort of pointless.
