<p>Perhaps the wrong name for it but I constantly see people enquiring about runs that will increase their AAs and wondered what exactly is this and how does it work?</p>

<p>An AA run is going to some zone that has a lot of discovery areas, a lot of named foes, or both, that you have not been to before.  The term implies that there won't be useful loot that anyone wants, the main purpose is the AA.</p><p>An example might be taking a group of 90 people mentored to 75-80 and one-grouping Laboratory of Lord Vyemm. There's a bunch of location dings and named creatures, and it's an AA goldmine for people who either were not raiding back in KOS, or who joined the game at some later point.</p>
