Streaming launcher not working

<p>I had a look through the forums, but couldn't seem to find anything to fix this problem.I am running windows XP.</p><p>When I download the streaming launcher and click to run it, it lets me select to pick the language (EU English), and then it makes the desktop icon. After this when you click the desktop icon to start nothing happens.  The mouse busy symbol appears for a second and I get a flash of white in the screen like its trying to open something, but nothing happens.I have tried updating everything I can through windows, as well as abobe flash (read that may help during my searches)  </p><p>Tried moving the files aroundRunning as adminTried deleting everything and starting again downloading in a different place.I am not very computer savy, so any help would be much appreciated</p><p>EDIT: I have also turned off the windows firewall</p>

<p>On the off chance this is related I had a problem with the streaming client on XP as well. Basically I would launch it, but it would take 6-7 minutes to actually launch EQ2. I couldn't find anything to fix it, even port forwarding didn't help. I switched to the Station Launcher and to my surprise I haven't had a problem since. It'll suck to have to go through the big download, but it might be worth a try if you have the time.</p>
