First of all i apolgise if this is the wrong forum bit for this but it wouldn't let me post in any others for some reason beyond me

I've recently returned to Eq2 after playing wow for so long i quit around the kunark Era (when those fairys and sarnaks were introduced)

So much has changed since then the Achievement system seems much more advanced and they've added aload of new things into the game.

Im looking at a class that will work well with a fury for duoing im guessing a tank would be best unless brigands, rangers, troubs are still op? (probally not). We are not looking to race to level 80 as fast as possible but we still want to be able to level effectivley and not be limited to what we can do such as duoing ^^^'s in dungeons like RoV,Runnyeye (you get the idea) it's all i remember.

My Fury friend is new to EQ2 She has never played it before ever so all the really hard compositions that work well if both players are awesome are kind of out the question until she learns more about the game and how to play and i relearn what i forgot

I have at the moment looking at my account a lvl 40 brigand,52 necro,55 warlock,48 paladin and 44 shadow knight if any of those would be great for her we are eventally looking to raid but as i said we want to level at a steady pace so she has a chance to learn

once again thanks and i apologise if this is the wrong forum

Tank + healer would probably be the easiest duo. Of your characters, the SK would be the best choice, good mix of toughness and dps, both AoE and ST.

If you were looking to start a new character (good way to get the hang of things), berserker would work well, for reasons similar to the SK.

how well can the shadow knight heal, mitigate damage to them compared to say a pally if we get stuck in a tight spot?

I like a swashbuckler or brigand with a healer for duo. They can do a decent job tanking if their gear is decent.

Any tank plus the healer would work. Crusaders (shadowknight or paladin) do some good damage and tank well.
