The racial abilities were changed, so everything got completely revamped. Transmuting secondary tradeskill was opened as available for everyone, so you got that skill automatically as a result.

Easiest thing for what skills you need is to hit K to open your spell book, then tell it to sort and check the "highest level only" box. This will show you "everything" available for your hotbars that is applicable (ie not replaced by a higher level spell).

If you're planning on mostly soloing, put 3-5 AA's in the Charm resistability AA 1st. At level 25 I think you should have Hostage, but IIRC you don't get Destructive Mind until 28 nor Spell Curse until 40, so your own personal dps won't be all that high as of yet, so you'll want a pet. At level 25 you should be questing in Butcherblock Mountains (or Nek Forest and/or Thundering Stepps too, but BBM is "best" for quest chains, IMO). Pets to be looking for are listed here.

Biggest thing to remember is that if you can control a mob you can kill it, so focus on controlling it 1st and foremost and then doing dps later. Eventually you'll work out how to control and dps simultaneously.

For general AA's, I mentioned the 3-5 in Charm for soloing. From there you generally will be looking on the Enchanter tab at the AGI line for increased cast speed and the INT line for critical hits and the +15% endline ability. On the Coercer tab most go for ther rightmost section 1st since this increases our spell dps a lot. On the Shadows tab, the general line is up to you, though most take the health and mana pool ones. The mage line is generally the small nuke and then "whatever (though I took Runic Protection) and you don't need to worry about 3rd line until after level 70.

I hope this helps!
