First lets all agree. Open world PvP is dead, everything being done now is a band aide to try and fix it. You may not want to hear that things were better in KoS, frankly that is too bad. You come back with it can't be done due to the games progression. On a PvP scale it has been a digression since then.

Sony has committed to PvP servers which means that there has to be a separation. This meaning PvE from PvP. Not the content but the rules that apply. I know Sony would like to have it as one big family, if that is the case then just end open world PvP turn this into a PvE server with BG's. That is the progression you have been taking us down and basically that is where it is leading.

If you truly want to fix this then first of all stop listening to PvE players to reset our rules. You have experimented and degraded gear to placate the complaints of PvE players. Then to make matters worse you make changes and want us to test server them. We don't have a test server since the PvE test server went down and you decided to use ours. We have no way of truly testing the fixes and/or changes. Test server BG's won't be a true test above open world.

Keep in mind this is a PvP server, people are here to fight and basically compete against each other. We are here to fight the greatest computer ever made, the human brain. These are not scripted mobs these are people, who learn from their mistakes and progress because of it. You can't have the same rules it won't work, I think possibly this is finally starting to come to light.

BG's should never have been introduced on a PvP server. If someone is that interested in BG's then they should go to a PvE server and go for it. Making the gear the same as in open world PvP (minus the small stat differences) only makes this even clearer. Basically you have introduce a no loss scenario. When you get rewarded for loss as well as win you bring the whole concept down. Then it is just a place to go where you don't need to try hard to get your gear. Skill is basically out the window and now you have a controlled environment zerg .

On a PvP server PvP gear should be the best that you can get period. It should be hard to get and earned through PvP. Here comes the clincher, we all understand the feelings of PvP gear in raids zones. That is where the first part of the separation should take place. There has to be a separation between PvE and PvP. One gear works in one but not the other. I am tired of hearing how people on a PvP server don't like to PvP. Yet they will get their full set of raid gear and dominate in PvP with their guild. You don't want PvP gear to trivialize the raid content that is fine, we don't want PvE gear to trivialize our PvP content. You can't have it both ways, some of us hate to raid. We PvP that is why we came to a PvP server.

It seems that the majority of people would like to see the body drop tokens again. I wasn't a fan, but majority wins. I would just like to see if it would be possible, that everyone who was in the fight and did damage got one. Not bust your butt and have someone come in and loot the chest before you have a chance. It was pretty cutthroat before.

Titles have been made to easy to get. A progression by kill rate doesn't make you worthy of a title just because you have the most kills. Before you had to progress by earning your title against players with the same or higher titles. You also had a chance in those exchanges to lose rank. It was basically a competition. That has been taken away.

Traveling in this game has been made way too easy. You don't have to leave your guild hall to get where you need to. Now all you need to do is go to the docks to basically get anywhere you need. Eliminating cross land travel has really made open world PvP nonexistent.

Since this is Everquest and the whole premise is on questing. In a way of compromise why don't you make some PvP quests. Rewards being useable PvP items (weapons, armor , jewelry ect). Making this accomplishable by open world traveling and making people subject themselves to PvP. Now we just have players that go to and from instances and/or raid zones, via traveling made easier.

As GM's and Developers you should not have affiliation with any one guild or faction. When guilds are raiding contested mobs they are subject to possible PvP and this should not be interfered with. This is the whole purpose of faction PvP. You have a chance to fight two battles. Just knowing this should make you more aware of your surroundings and not feel safe.

I know that there are a bunch of things that people would like to see done. Please post them.
