View Full Version : TS Progress/Durability messages

<p>From yesterday's Test Update Notes:</p><p><span ><p><strong>TRADESKILLS</strong></p><ul><li>You will no longer be spammed with progress and durability messages while crafting.</li></ul></span></p><p>I admit I haven't been on test for a while, but was this a message sent to a chat window, or one displayed across the screen like quest updates are? Because if it's the former, this is something TS needs. Those messages can be logged, and those logs are needed to prove that the "no guaranteed success when correctly countering" bug did and still does happen. While it's not as widespread as it used to be (every Armorer in certain level ranges), it does still happen. I report it when I see it, but without the logs there's no evidence that it is happening in the same round as the successful counter. The original error was only tracked down when someone managed to get a log of a successful counter followed by a critical fail message.</p><p>I've been asking for ages now that progress and durability be loggable so we can post evidence when this error happens. Please tell me that's not what this is, that it wasn't put on test (with no notice that I can find) only to be removed before it could be put to use?</p>

NO I do not consider it spam it helps me decided whether to go for more durablity or progress. higher negative number in durability I do a durabilty round lower or positive durability number I do a progress round and it also helps me to time my rounds as well this is not a good Idea tehre is a reason I do not do the void daily tradeskill group instance anymore then I have to to get myself or guildmates their naga it does not have the so called spam on the screen to help me decide the right buttons progress or durability</p>
<p>Haven't checked on Test yet, but I doubt they're completely removing the pop-up numbers. My guess is it may be a fix for when you lag and see 2-3 sets of numbers go up all at once, or some similar issue. Either that or they added logging of it and turned it back off.</p>
