Are there any websites that chronical a timeline, and ALL of the Lore and History of Norrath? Or are there any books? It'd be amazing to be able to go to a one-stop place to find it all written down concisely and awesomely. For instance, one of the MMOs I played: NeoCron, had all of it's lore in a almost 50 page booklet you could download called the History of Neocron. I was just wondering if there was anything like that for EQ. and if not, WHY isn't there?

There's The Athenaeum -- it's a pretty handy lore resource.

FYI. It's impossible to get a 100% accurate accounting of Norrath's history. The issue is that when the official time line split for EQ1 and EQ2 occured, there were still some over laps in EQ2's lore.

For example, appearantly Mayong Mistmore for a god for a short period of time in EQ2's back story. This was an EQ1 event. Yet the exact mechanics as to how it happened in EQ2 are unknown and potentially different. At the same time, almost all of the other EQ1 expansion lore pieces never happened in EQ2. Yet to complicate this further, there are also exceptions like the Mayong example. To be honest, it can get really confusing.

And the card game world of LoN seems to be a hybrid between EQ1, EQ2, and its own unique lore. So it's hard to say just how much of that alternate EQ universe even exists in canon EQ2 lore.

if you can find them, the EverQuest "pen & paper" RPG books are also great for information. This site: http://www.eqrpg.com/ deals directly with such books and that venue as a whole.
