<p>I've tried to research the answers for these questions, but either came up with no answers, or non-specific ones that I want to verify.</p><p><strong>Situation:</strong> </p><p>My husband is coming back to EQ2 after a 6 month hiatus. He has about 4 accounts, but wants to cut back to one, so he is going to transfer his favorite characters all to the same one.</p><p><strong>What I have found out so far:</strong></p><p>A list of details that he will need to verify on the individual characters, (empty mailbox, nothing on broker, etc.)</p><p><strong>What I want to know or verify:</strong>(The following info comes from the Knowledge Base (KB), but mostly relates to server transfers, thus the need to verify):</p><p>The account needs to be "at least 60 days old" - Is this age from initial creation (and play), or recent activity?</p><p>The account needs to be "In an active (recurring billing) state" - Does this refer to all the accounts involved or just the transfer to account? ...... Reason for question - we are hoping to cut down on costs by just activating the from accounts with the 3 day Passport subscription.</p><p>The KB also states that account transfers need to be done over the phone for security. Does this mean that Station Cash will not be used for it? ...... Reason for question - also for cutting costs by taking advantage of the Station Cash Double Cash promo this coming weekend.</p><p>Thanks so much (in advance) for the answers!</p><p>~ Cerilynn</p>

Reason for question - we are hoping to cut down on costs by just activating the from accounts with the 3 day Passport subscription.</p></blockquote><p>They have to be 'active' with a valid monthly payment entered (hence the 'Recurring Billing' part) , I think you 'may' have to subscribe for one month on each account , then close the account after the transfer has happened.</p>

<p>Does anyone have current information on this? Does the "transferring from" account have to be active? If it does, can a 3 day subscription be used?</p>

<p>The source account must be in an Active, recurring, state in order to see and purchase a Character transfer Token.</p><p>With that said, a 3-day pass is not recurring and therefor will not be allowed to purchase a CTS token.</p><p>The destination account has to be accessible but does not have to be in a recurring state to receive the transferred character.</p>
