I'm asking this on behalf of a friend on the free trial. I'm pretty new myself, so I didn't know the answer.

Is there an item aside from a monk gi which will show as a bare chest if placed in the appearance slot? He's playing a kerran berzerker and has a particular look he wants, but as far as I know, no such thing exists.

Thanks.

The tunic he refers to is currently available via the Druid Ring Reconstruction event for, I think, 18 tokens. I may be wrong on that.

As that event is a "limited time" engagement, your friend will want to scurry over to one of the new rings and start knockin out a few quests to buy it from the druid token merchant (at the ring) before they poof.

Some people question why these imperceptible beauty items exist since they just blank out whatever slot they're in, but for applications such as your friend wanting a bare chest but not being a monk, they rock. Some other people prefer to run around without gloves or barefoot.. also win.

Back to your friend, there is "a" gi that is usable by non-monks also. It's in the 50s and I can't for the life of me remember its name.. stone-something gi. It's not a bare chest but it's close. My inquisitor has one when I want him to look like a monk.

I believe it's the Stone Apprentice Gi. I have one of those. There's also a Tradeskill or Smithing vest that you can get from the Tradeskill faction vendors in the cities that has a mid-rif look.

There is a gi that can be worn by any and all non-clothies called the 'Gi of the Jarsath Swifttail'...at least I think that's the name. Sapphirius and Cusa would know better than I, but I seem to recall that being the name.
