Since packing crates etc seem to be discussed more here in the tradeskill forum than elsewhere.......

I have been putting off deleting an old character as he owns my main house, and moving and setting up again would seem to have many complications. Simply moving him to another house he owns would not be a problem, as all belongings would be packed automatically in his packing crate.

I need another character to buy a house, then move everything across. Can I somehow manage to get everything forced into "owner 1"'s crate and then unpack it in another house as a trustee, or is it each character shifting one by one? This would be a real drag, as almost all of my good alts have stuff in there - as well as some now betrayed evils and even a number of now deleted characters.

I wish I could just sign the title over as a fully furnished house lol.

The only idea I have, and it may not be the best one is:

Buy the new house with the other "guy" and place a mailbox in it.

Log in the low level owner and start mailing, all this can be placed in a new sorrage box upon delivery.

I'm pretty sure there's a limit on the number of items you can mail, but I'm not sure what that is (before mailbox full)

You can send the items back to evil characters as well, although whether or not that's a good thing will depend on how tolerant the place you're moving to is (ie for good side anything but Qeynos).

Yeah, no easy way to do this but sure would be nice if they would remove "no-trade" as a tag and then give trustees the ability to pack up a house and then pick up the moving container into inventory and take it with them to a new location.

I'd test it with one item you can stand to lose first, but I believe it tracks the toon by character ID not name. I'm pretty positive I've tried that in the past and was never able to get the system to send something to a new verison of the same name, but its worth an attempt anyways if you have a spare character slot. Perhaps just make a new toon, claim a bonsai (or other no-trade house item that is replaceable) and put it in the house, then delete and make another with the same name. You can always return an item to owner, the key is whether it actually arrives at the new version of the toon, or just disappears into the ether...

I made a character, placed a fan faire statue in my house, deleted it and made a new character and claimed a new statue, then sent the placed statue back via mail and ended up with two.

If they already deleted the character, not much else they can do but try this (or maybe petition and pray).
