So since i got more then 1 answer in various directions about this Q in game i thought id attempt asking in the forums. I know the mystics mythical weapon is a 1h type. Does that mean that if i had originally planned to keep a scythe type weapon in my appearance tab through the entire life of my mystic that it just wouldnt be possible due to the different type of main equipped weapon?

If you use a one-handed weapon to fight, only a one-handed item works for appearance. And if you use a two-handed weapon to fight, only a two-handed item works for appearance.

So yes, if you use that rattle to fight with, you can't use a two-handed scythe for appearance.

Ugh, yea thats what i was thinking was indeed true as well. Thats so disheartening lol. The shaman class was the one i had intended to use the scythe model for appearance the moment i could acquire the one for lvl 25 in the valley of the fallen.. so now if i decide to do that ill never be able to use the mythical lol, but im much more of a casual player so maybe that wont really affect me much. Saw the Defilers was a1h type spear so it'd be the same there to. Thanx on the reply

With Epic Repercussions, you get the effect of your mythical without having to wield it, so once you've completed the mythical, start working on ER and look for a replacement 2H to wield so you can use the scythe in appearance. I've always used my myth and a shield, but after finally completely ER I swapped to a 2H and am very happy with it.

Epic Repercussions?

Ive been out of the game for quite awhile, only really ever stopping in here and there. recently here though i decided i wanted to maybe thrown down for a 6month-1yr sub at once so ive been trying to get re acquianted with the game and all that. This is the first time ive heard of that though. may have to look that up

Yea i see, did a quick search over the wiki after i read that last post. still by the time im ever ready to go after my own mythical ill be rdy to tackle that portion too, either way i think its a cool concept and it renews my hope in wanting to keep that mystic i rolled for a nice melee style shaman with faithful spirit wolf and scythe in hand. plus getting a house trophy of the weapon is cool. I always thought it'd be slick to be able to turn a sword or weapon that we acquired or crafted that we really liked into a mounted trophy as a momento or some such. Much appreciated on the replies, especially the one about the epic Repercussions . Ive been tryin to ask around as i played and everything tryin go learn various things, of things that changed since i played last, etc just so i can gain a better understanding of whats ahead of me and that was a great help.
