Patcher not recognizing installation - reinstalling everything

<p>Whether I run Station Launcher or original patcher - neither are recognizing my installation and giving me 10gb size updates replacing my files.</p><p>Install locations are correct.  I did a system restore for two weeks ago when all was good and it is doing the same thing.</p><p>I have played since launch and this is a new one for me and has me stumped.</p>

<p>Update - I let traditional patcher run down to point where it says it is installing 1.2gb and begins to unpack files I already have.  Interestingly it installs like 3gb/1.2gb which makes no sense and then resets and begins to unpack the same files again.</p><p>Went through station laucher again and it tells me I have 1200mb left - same as the patcher.  Something is really strange here.  I was playing no problem just a few days ago with no system changes that I can think of.</p><p>Update 2 - station launcher finally finished update and allowed me to play - a totally clean install - it even deleted my custom ui - everything.  Now traditional patcher also seems to like my installation.</p><p>I am glad to be able to play again but what in the world happened here?</p>
