<p>So about an hour ago I was happily playing the game with no problems. Then my computer crashed (I suspect overheating). When I restarted it, I can't get past pushing the "Play" button in LaunchPad.exe. Additionally if I simply wait a few seconds without pushing the Play button, it also crashes. I have no idea what changed and there doesn't seem to be any sort of crash log. (Maybe I don't know where to look for it?)</p><p>Looking at the folder for any files that the launch pad may be creating/modifying I see a Launch-pad-user.ini containing the following:</p><p><p>[Settings]</p><p>locale=en_US</p></p><p>Also the Music folder seems to be getting modified every time I launch the Launchpad, but I can't see any files in there that are new/modified today.</p><p>I've tried running it as an administrator, running in WinXP compatibility mode, reinstalling, etc. When I try reinstalling, I get the same sort of crash with the new version. As far as I can tell I haven't changed any settings since last it worked.</p><p>I tried using the station launcher, but despite being told the correct folder for the game, the station launcher insists it needs to download 8.2 GB of files before launching the game. I would settle for having to start the game through the station launcher if I could avoid having to reinstall completely.</p>
