Question - I remember there being mention of the Iksar outpost named, I think, Visk, prior to the release of Kunark. Was that lead ever followed up on? If so, what was the story? I know some info was posted here on the forum way back about how it was named after Visk Irontail etc., but that was befre RoK was released....

Visk was suppose to be an iksar outpost they established on Faydwer, but iksar ships ended up being blown off course due to storms and crashed on the shores of the Commonlands, where Lucan immediately enslaved them.

It was never followed up on, which is too bad considering that Vhalen wouldn't have overlooked something like that when they developed Faydwer.

Maybe Visk could be the racial starting town for Iksar when they bring those back a few expansions *fingers crossed. Although, it's hard to imagine Iksar on Faydwer, maybe it should be an island now, Rending and all.

Looking at the map of Kunark, I can't help but wonder if part of Warsliks woods is sitting on top of that massive mesa you can see in the Northern reach of the Fens of Nathsar, just waiting for an adventure pack. Call it "Peaks of the Obulus..."

You could bring back Dalnir, the "goblin" fort (THEY STOLE IT FROM US!), giantown...it'd be good.

What's left of Warsilik Woods is in Northern Fens. Up on top of that esa is the 2nd half of the ruins of Cabilis, followed by a very, VERY short walk to a cliffside overlooking the ocean.

I don't know...I assume you're talking about the little patch of trees North of Riliss, where the Sarnshak are hanging out. Granted, they've got "Warslik Prowlers" walking along, but that's waaayyy out of line from EQ1. I mean, I know things changed, rending, different game etc., but this is too much. That patch of trees is located South of FoB, North of SoNH. WW in EQ was West of FoB, East of the Overthere. That mesa is exactly where WW should be. I'd be surprised in we never see an expansion/ap bring in Dalnir, and that's the logical place for it to be.

Besides, there were five main tribes left after the Shissar went to Luclin, and we've only seen four of their names so far. I think the devs left Obulus out for a reason.

I spent so much time there collecting Crescent armor for my Monk. I want to see it return as well.

I'm sure an entrance can be made for Visk somewhere. If it was Faydwer they went to, then in Steamfont near Meldrath's caves?
