Just curious me and the wife are tring to find a great duo to do heroic stuff and be able to really explore dungeons and things. Would this combo be what we are looking for? And sometimes i might play both on the same pc just with 2 monitors so i can use 1 monitor for each character screen.

Thanks.

Should work fine. I've 2-boxed my sk and templar in the past and it's pretty smooth going. One of the melee based priests could probably add a bit more dps and make for faster killing, but if that's not a concern then temp/pally duo would be fine.

I've done several pairs of toons over the last couple of years, and would recommend - if you don't mind being Evil - SK and Fury. There are plenty of heals, AOEs, DPS from both (my Temp's DPS is, with the best will in the world, rubbish) and if you choose the right race (Kerra Fury?) you get Tracking as well - essential for many "kill xxx Bears" quests.

There is also Evac, FD, and decent Invis; the only downside is that as evils they can't get some quests - but franly it's not many.

Temp/Pally duo is fine - but you'll notice the lack of DPS at some stage. Oh, and one more thing - with two Plate wearers you'll be completing for rares for MC Armour, whereas with a Plate/Leather healer combo there is more spread of harvested rares. Just a thought.

I recently returned so my info might be out of date. I used to duo successfully with templar/pally because before SF, the +WIS buffs came in handy and templars and pallies each had divine damage debuffs, meaning DPS was effectively increased while they were active. Shield ally also helped avoidance against tougher mobs, meaning I could spend a bit less time healing and more on dps. Of course, some of our debuffs are also lotto heals so it was usually enough to stick those on the mob and then switch to dps (especially as lotto heals did not trigger the EOF AA tree smites dps penalty that reactives and direct heals did).

Lots of changes have now taken place, so the above might be totally useless (and I'm still in the process of finding out how the changes affects templar/pally combo). For example, since pallies now rely on str, the benefits of the +wis are not what they once were. There may be other things and I'll update as soon as I find out.

Currently 2 boxing a Pally and Temp. They compliement each other well, but dps and power can be an issue. SK and Inqisitor can be an awesome set up.
