I use two different screens on the same PC and have hit a very annoying problem. The various windows on screen retain their irl physical size rather than changing proportionate to the screen size - so set up for my 23 inch widescreen (main screen) and when I use the other screen (19 inch widescreen) - nothing fits - as the bags etc keep their actual size and are not proportionately smaller.

Any way to stop that from happening? ie I want my bags etc to be smaller on the smaller screen. Clearly the current system takes far more programming effort to take screen size into consideration and change the sizes of the windows proportionately to keep them the same irl physical size, but unfortunately it is not a feature - it is a fault. One of those things where someone had a bright idea but the bulb was in the wrong room.

Setting up on the smaller screen and saving that will work in a fashion - but looks terrible when you move to the main screen, with everything spaced out over the screen.

Mind if I ask what Screen Resolution your running the 23 inch and the 19w inch in? I ask becasue for a UI for show up in the same (relative) proportions on both screens the both have to be set to the same resolution - if not it can cause the issue/illusion that your seeing.

Right Click Desktop > Properties > Settings

Both running on their maximums - which are

23 - 1680 * 1050

19 - 1440 * 900 - which would put them about the same resolution - but I don't really want to downgrade the resolution on the 23 just so things will fit when run on the 19 (tried it - looks terrible)

Hum and they both are the same 16:10 ratio, so that's good.

Unfortunally since they are different resolutions, even though they share the same ratio, things will still appear differently on each monitor.

One thing you could do is setup a batch file for each monitor. When you run the batch it will copy a saved UI templare to the proper EQ2 folder, then start the patcher as normal. You would then have a seprate "run" file (batch) for each monitor, depending on which you wanted to play on. It would also work seamlessly in the background.

Just a workable option, but it would take a few minutes to initially setup. Like I said though, it's just an option.
