I dont know much about the lvl cap stuff and I dont really know who would be better at tanking an instance. I dont plan on raiding anytime soon

any pros/cons for being a monk?

Bruiser is probably a little better, but the play styles are very alike.

From my experience as a monk. Monks are supposed to be the more defensive brawler, and it is easier for me to get my mit and avoidance up in compared to the bruiser in my guild. Bruisers have the ability to get stone skins witch monks dont have and they helps them to take hit better them monks (or it seams they way to my wife's fury). brawlers are more AOE based then monks. If you have your fabled epic i would say stay with it till u are able to get Epic Repercussions done. after that if you still want to betray it will be easier since you dont have to wary about any epic's any more it will convert over. i think the brawlers are about as close together in function as any 2 classes in eq2 are, with exception of maybe shamans.

We can get more mit then bruisers avoid is equal but they get damage reduction which is huge especially with how deep we can get into the mit curve these days.
