As noted here: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=480218

"It's come to our attention that something has gone very wrong in the system and people who paid for a subscription yesterday or today are being charged but not being granted access to the game. The launcher tells you to re-subscribe. Please do NOT re-subscribe. As far as we can tell it's a problem with the billing system talking to the game login servers. We're actively trying to rectify as soon as humanly possible. I'll update you when I know more, but feel free to let me know if you have any questions."

I have a question. Since you have admitted you have collected our money - I confirmed the charge amount has appeared on my credit card - but are not allowing us to use the game as we have licensed, will you be granting us a refund for the time we have not been allowed access?

Oh well ...poo. I was hoping it was an easy fix on my end.

I am having an issue as well. However it isn't telling me that I need to sub again.

The error states:

There was a problem accessing your account information.

Please try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists, please contact customer service for assistance.

It's been like that all day. My sub renewed yesterday, is good through 7/3/10. It seems to be affected all the SOE games I've got installed except for FreeRealms (freerealms is allowing me to do membership things with no issue).

Ya.. gettin this same bunk message myself, and spent over 13 mins on hold long distance before I decided to hang up, because I somehow doubt I will get any form of reimbursement for my long distance bill OR my time wasted in general from SOE. I am not impressed with the service of this company, we foot their bill, and whenever anything goes wrong, all we get is 'OOPS, SORRY!' I would not be so ticked if they would at least offer us some form of reimbursement for the inconvenience, how bout some kinda service for free, like the highly overpriced race change or sex change or even a name change, just for kicks, things that cost them litterally nothing to let us change and yet they charge us for them, same with all the appearance crap. so many things they could give us for the inconvenience of it all, that would cost them nothing, and all we get is 'Sorry, we'll fix it when we can(after our tea break)'

Trying to access main account i'm getting Error Wrong Username or Password.. Changed my password to see if this might be the problem.. No i can access Station an all over just not EQ2. Subscription was paid supose to have been 14.99 but they gave me a 5$ discount and charged 9.99$ And now I cannot Log into game. Well I'm glad they have found the problem with the billing department telling the server it was paid.. Just now to wait for them to Remedy this fix.

Just got off the phone with customer service (tech). Stated that the problem is being worked on and will be fixed soon (asked for his definition of "SOON", gave me a statement then of that tech had not provided an ETR yet. Im real curiouse as to how the system can work as far as charging my credit card but not update my account listing. He did state that if the problem was not fixed within 1 day that a refund for the time that I am not able to log in would be granted, but I would have to contact SOE again (45min wait).

Just love paying for something I cant use, must be the new buisness model to increase profits.

/ rant off

By all rights they should reimburse me a week, not a day or 2. And even That would not pay for the long distance fee for calling them and being on hold for that long. It's a complete joke, and lack of accountability on their part. They finally offer reimbursement and it's in the form of 'just pay 5$ for long distance, and we'll give you 50 cents to a dollar for your time' Like I stated before, why not give us something stupid that they would usually charge a bunch for that costs them nothing, that would at least show that they aren't sitting there laughing in our faces..
