90 gear

<p>Doing some research for a fellow guildie looking to gear out her coercer.  What blue stats are coercers look at in instance gear at 90 right now? Are they going for summoners pet procs? Are you going for wizzy straight damage and procs? Or is there gear out there for just chanters?  I'm looking for just legendary gear right now, not raid yet.</p><p>Thanks in advance</p>

<p>We cast fast but we cast small, so while we do like some ability mod, we don't need too terribly much of it.</p><p>We can easily get over 100% spell crit, and thus look for crit bonus and potency in order to increase our damage there.</p><p>If we have our mythical or conversion, we like the summoner gear as well since it does affect our Possessed Essence.  That said, it doesn't make THAT much difference, so if the "best thing we've got" happens to have the summoner effect on it, so be it, but we aren't actively seeking it.</p><p>Primary things we want are potency and crit bonus, after we've got crit chance to over 100% and ability mod to 800-ish.</p>

<p>I almost never have a silly possessed essance unless I'm soloing.  They're just aoe fodder during a raid.  I grabbed some of the "pet" gear at the beginning only because there is soooo much of it and no one else wanted it, but I've been steadily trading it out for straight damage, and non-pet proc'ing gear.</p><p>What DwarvesRUs said about potency and crit bonus is spot on.  I'd also suggest making sure she gets her Int over 1200 asap since that seems to be a DPS speedbump.</p>

Right now she is in the T3 shard gear so she has a decent base. She's been gearing out her fury for our guild which is lacking healers right now, but it's time for her to start with her coercer. She's been doing what Kitn said of getting the pet gear cuz its a slight upgrades but wanted to know what she should be looking for. Is there anything besides the obvious crit and potency she should look for? Something not usually thought of? Are there any really good chanter procs?

<p>LOL, she sounds like me, my #1 alt is a Fury!</p><p>My favorite procs are all damage <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" /></p><p>A few nice ones:</p><p>Torrent - encounter cold damage</p><p>Fatal Lifetap - poison damage on target and heal on yourself</p><p>Mystic Havoc - magic damage on target</p><p>And a decent non-damage proc:</p><p>Enigmatic Wording - reduces resistability</p><p>And obviously, she'll want to get some gear with red slots as soon as she is able.  Red slot focus adorns make up for the loss of T3 shard gear set bonus's.</p><p>Oh, and on the fury, I just bought the Band of Gloom on the new Mark vendor ... very nice!</p>
