Keyboard Mappings Reset while in BG ??

<p>Hello:I just had my first BG experience which was terrible because once entering the BG, the game resets ALL keyboard mappings to the default. This disabled me completely, as I have remapped all hotbar key combos and many other keyboard settings.</p><p>How can I get around this issue?  Loading UI Settings during the BG properly loads Button Bar Placement, etc. But it doesn't load Keyboard mappings.</p><p>Upon returning to Nagafen, My keyboard mappings are returned to my customized settings.  Gotta hate it.</p><p>Thanks for any help.</p>

<p>This is a known bug it should load the normal keymaps from what the Dev's have said. But it does not atm. Best thing is to find a game were things are not going well and just take a few mins and remap the keymaps while in the BG it will then save that so each time you enter you have them.</p><p>The <span >/save_keymaps Name and /load_keymaps Name does work, but it will not save the keymaps once you log out of the game.</span></p>

Took quite a while too. I just logged on this morning and all of the settings were lost.</p><p>I went into several BG's last night once adjusting my keys and they were saved OK. Evidently once you exit the game, they're lost...which means you'd have to do this every time you launch the game?</p><p>SOE -- Fix this soon please. Or give us a workaround that holds from session to session...</p>

<p>It seem's todays update reset all the keymaps when going into battlegrounds, lest for some people. If this is the normal with each patch then sadly the only work around will be the ( <span>/save_keymaps Name ) while on your normal server, and then ( /load_keymaps Name ) once into the battleground.</span></p><p><span>I seem to have it randomly reset tho to the default keymaps at times. Best bet is to throw the ( /load_keymaps Name ) into a macro to hit once in game. You only need to do the ( <span>/save_keymaps Name ) one time btw.</span></span></p><p><span></span></p><p><span><span>And yes this needs fixed badly.</span></span></p>

<p>This is a very annoying bug for me as well.</p><p>I have yet to try the Keymap Command. Hopefully it will work.</p><p>And, Hopefully, The dev team will get this fixed soon. For those of us that map keys, this is a HUGE handicap while in BG's.</p>

<p>I just logged into BG for the first time on my assassin two days ago.  I know I'm re-iterating everything, but it's so frustrating....</p><p>- It's almost unplayable for somebody that is heavily reliant on key mapping.  I do 1/5 the damage with the defaults- If I take the time to manually map them (which I did,) I get tagged as afk.- Saving the mapping does nothing- The next day (after logging out,) I have to remap <em>again</em></p><p>What's the problem? Is it b/c BG is on a separate server?  If so, why wouldn't the profile that i saved while playing BG have worked?</p><p>This is ridiculous. Please fix it.</p>
