Can't connect to server...

<p>Having an issue connecting today. When I run Station Launcher, it goes to the initial "Processing" stage for a while, then just says 'Disconnected From Server'. I tried running the eq2.exe directly and it loads up the Halas screen but when I try to sign in it will not connect to any servers. My internet connection is fine and I was playing and raiding last night so not sure what the issue could be. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and am running both launcher and .exe as admin and in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode.</p><p>I also tried running the tracert from the cmd window just like it was described but I'm getting 'Access Denied' message for every command which is odd. I'm not connected through a router and windows firewall is off. My antivirus is Avast! but has been disabled for troubleshooting purposes as well and still getting the same results.</p>

<p>well it has been some time now and finally i was able to come up with the solution seeing that i'm on the game as i type this, with no problem to my ping running at a nice 100-150ms i ended up having to reinstall the station launcher and was able to log right in lol so i guess there were files defected in the updates idk but if anyone has any idea why the launcher does not like to download files properly with great connection, would help greatly. thank you</p>

<p>just when i thought i had found out the problem, it does it again, i tried redownloading bothe the game and and the launcher but this time it didnt work lol still having the same thing happen the next day. i can log in but when it trys to start reading the game files it doesnt even want to so it seems, tells me "trying log in server 1....2.....3......4......all the way to 9 then restarts that same process and then tells me "could not connect to a login server, The servers may be busy, please try again in a few minutes" when i have a ping of 70ms</p>

<p>I've worked w/ Zallus's pc regarding this issue and it seems to come and go. Works fine one day then the next day it won't connect and we're both completely stumped as to what the issue is. We have to completely download and reinstall the Station Launcher everytime he wants to play which is becoming tedious and even that doesn't always work. As of yet we have not found a long term solution to this issue.</p><p>I am running mine on Windows XP 32-bit version and have never had an issue w/ either the launcher or the .exe file or any kind of connection issue myself and we've tried running both pc's on different connections w/ the same results so we know it isn't the ISP. Please let us know if other people are having similar connection or launcher issues w/ Windows 7 64-bit and if there is some kind of setting we are not aware of that may be blocking this connection or maybe a compatability issue. We've gone thru all of the troubleshooting tips that are stickied before posting and this is our last resort.</p>

<p>Just saw Sneaky's post in another <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=479912" target="_blank">topic</a> so i'll post the tracert info this evening when i get off work and have a chance to play w/ it more. Maybe that will help to resolve the issue.</p>
