Old Characters are not showing up

<p>Hello, i havent played since about 2005, well i was goin to give it another shot so i downloaded free trial and found out old account pw/name threw old emails. when i logged into my old account dont see my characters tho i can look them up on the :Character" tab name was Kissmeluv and ive checked and seen my other alts. now if i subscribe will i be able to play them? i am on the english version and the right server and my character some are above 30. thanks for ANY help!!</p><p>Ps when i logg in only characters i see is the ones i recently created.</p>

<p>Make sure you're playing the correct version of the game. Depending on whether you're using the old launchpad or the new launcher you should be able to spot whether you've installed the US version, the GB version, or the test version. Once you're sure you've got the right version installed then your characters should appear on the character list on the launcher or launchpad.</p><p>However, you can't access your old account through the trial so far as I'm aware. The only way to access your old characters is by activating your old account. Only when you have done so will the old characters show up.</p>

<p>Thanks alot yeah im not sure which version i have atm lol just am on the free trial and wanted to see if my characters were still there, Thanks alot i believe once i subscribe they should be there. Thanks!</p>

<p>You would have to subscribe to your old account to have access to your characters.  Currently according to what I have read this post, you have 2 accounts.  One is the trial version and then your old account.  They will not mix at all.</p><p>According to eq2players, there is a <span >Kissmeluv on Butcherblock as well as a slew of <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/Butcherblock/Kissmeluv/" target="_blank">alts.</a>  Do you have acces to BB on your trial account?  If so, then you have the correct client installed.</span></p>

<p>sorry i meant that i created a trial account but then i found out my old account pw/user name and then used that for the 14 day trial. sorry. but the characters are not on the account just the ones i made when i started yesterday.</p>

<p>yea i seen that, thats what makes me wonder if i subscribe that account if my characters will start to show up. Yeah made a guy on butcherblock thinking maybe when i logged off that newly made guy i would see them. I have the launcher that comes with the 14 day trial atm. goin to subscribe in a week</p><p>Yes i can go to BB and play a NEWLY made guy but my old guys arent there, thanks for helping out guys. I was just worried they got deleted</p>

<p>It is not possible to set up a trial account on your old account.  I remember that they previously gave time to old accounts to kure people back to the game, but it was only avalable during a specific time frame.  Your old guys shoudl be on the other account.  If you subscribe to this account, they will not be there.</p><p>Before you subscribe, you may want to contact Customer Support to be sure that you have the correct account that you wish to subscribe to.  They are not open today due to Memorial Day, but they shoudl be in tomorrow.</p>

<p>thanks alot, i will do that! yeah i created a trial account, because you have to to even download the free trial instaler..so what i was thinkin that if i made a random account and then used my OLD account that it would let me play them for 14 days. Thanks i will contact them tomorrow to see. Its odd because i sign into old out i dont use the new one i made when i started the trial.</p><p>Thanks for your help</p>

<p>Nope.  Trial accounts and sub accounts are 2 different things.  You can not gain access to your old account via the trial system.</p>

<p>okay. so i logged in reinstalled and everything. and still nothing. when i logged it i had to re-subscribe. no problem. i used all the same info cept different payment method. my old toons are still gone. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>Are you on the correct Client?  Did you check the BB characters?  If you are on the correct client and on BB, then I would contact CS directly...</p>
