Don't like the way these have been implented, with the quest npc just offering you the quest based on your Adorning skill level. I'm a quester before I'm a tradeskiller, and as my adorning is maxed already, I'm just looking at this and seeing 8 quests that I can't do.

Would be nice if they changed it so the npc offered you the full range of quests so you could pick one. Make it no reward for grey quests if that's what the issue behind making it level appropriate only is.

Or give us a way to self-mentor Tradeskill / Secondary tradeskill.

At the very worst, I would even consider resetting Adorning and building it back again from scratch, picking up the quests on the way. But I don't think this is even possible now that you can have both Secondaries and don't need to choose between them?

Domino put this in just to help us along and make it mat- free skillups. I've averaged about 5 or 6 skillups per day. I personally like it. I will be maxed adorner after I unlock levels and go on to 90 and get 50 more skill points, then no need for me to ever talk to this npc again. It's just a helper for non maxed adorners.

Yup, I see all that and agree that it's a good addition for non-maxed adorners.

What I am saying is, looking at this from a quester's viewpoint (which is why I posted this here and not in the Tradeskill forum), I see 9 new quests added, of which 8 I will never be able to do as things stand currently. This makes questers sad

Many folks (myself included) were well up in the levels before the current writs were created, so that's plenty of quests I won't be able to do there either. A way to 'mentor' TS level would be nice, but a better solution would be a way of just getting any writ at any time. After all, there is already a method of making lower level writs unattractive to higher levels (the much smaller status reward).

Yeah I know it's similar to the existing TS writs, but that doesn't make it the best way to do things when introducing something new.

I prefer the way that the Far Seas Requisition Foreman works on the Isle of Mara. She offers you the whole range of quests that she has for your tradeskill class, regardless of level.

Also, if you REALLY wanted to do those lower level writs you can get them by resetting your tradeskill class and starting over. There is no way now to do that for Adorning, hence no way for max adorners to access 8 of the 9 quests added.
