Ok, I don't play on a pvp server. I have an alt there, but that's about it. Trying to fight twinked toons as a brand new player to pvp isn't fun. Anyway, with the new lower level BG's I was going to level lock an SK at 39 for t4 BG's, that was until I saw that the MC PVP Armor had better green stats then the actual PVP Merchant Armor. I mean what is the point of the lower level BG's if there isn't an actual reward for doing them? The PVP aspect? Truly you don't believe people PVP just for the hell of it, they do it for advancement just like people raiding do it for character advancement. Below are screen shots of the t4 PVP Merchant Fabled Armor with the t4 MC PVP Armor.

The increased health , resists and toughness alone outweigh the green stats, not to mention the considerable amount of blue stats on the bg gear. For pvp that gear destroys the mc gear

my 42 zerker has been doing fine with the MC. If I upgraded to the BG armor my STR and STA would be HALF what it is now.

I don't think those little blue stats are worth the loss. The toughness on mc is close to the bg gear already.

With a 2 handed Claymore in defensive stance I often top the parse/kills. I carry a one hander and shield if I need it though.

edit== i know lvl 42 is the next teir up, but the issue is the same.

The issue is, at lower levels those green stats do add up to be a major part of a piece of gear. Once you are at higher levels when gear has more raw HP and other stats Green stats mean less.

double the health and quadruple the resists, I guess it just depends on what you are looking for. the pvp gear is better in terms of survivability, but you do make a good point about the green stats being more important at lower levels.
