So I worked my way through the "new" questline of repeatables in Stonebrunt Highlands today - the one with the clickie in your inventory taht lets you pick the kind of mob you want to kill over and over - only to find out, in the end, that the reward looks EXACTLY the same as the one from the original icebox quest line in Paineel. Needless to say I was UTTERLY disappointed. I was hoping for maybe the same type of item but AT LEAST with a different color palette?!

While I understand that the new item is slightly better stats wise, it has the exact same appearance as the old one and the appearance factor was the only reason I even did the [Removed for Content] quest line :/

Honestly, how much does it take to change the color palette on a robe? This was a total let down, seriously.

If you get a pair of gloves from one quest or loot drop, a quest or loot drop from the same area or level range will be 100% identical. It's depressing for the whole range of SF and Frostfang items, especially for those of us who like variety in the appearances.

I'd love to see a palatte difference, a re-tint, on items even if they have the same overall appearance, just to give a bit of variety. It also gives a secondary use to an item. If you don't want to use it for the stats, you might want to use it for the appearance.

Additionally, it's annoying and depressing to see the appearances of "under the robe" cloth items (pants and sleeves) going back to being something wholely generic indicating the devs (or artists) don't think cloth wearers should wear anything besides the one-piece robe. It's lazy lazy lazy. To top that off, there are fewer robe appearances than any other armor type (two one-piece robe shapes.. heck there are even 4 or 5 different gi shapes).

Gear appearances are the single most depressing thing about this game, in my opinion. Not because of the quality of the art, but because of the lack of variety, especially for those restricted to cloth.
