View Full Version : We wanted crafter to be more usefull for adventurer and we got ...

- New sets from timorous that make t1 crafting useless, and t2 almost useless.

- New T7 set from the cloud quest time that are way better than t8 mastercraft.

- Only 3 pieces of mark armor, and moreover those pieces are not really better than drops from heroic content.

So globally we only have 4 tier left : t3,t4,t5,t6.

Unless they seriously stealth upgraded the Cloud line armors (at least on my Fury), it wasn't better than T7 armor. Of course, T7 armor was poor to begin with (it can be argued that T6 (level 62) armor is better all around short of Armor level), but that's another problem entirely.

I was confused by that also, as I am just now getting the cloud armor and, comparing it to my level 62 MC as I get the pieces, it's staying in my bag. This might be specific to the Inquisitor armor, but I really don't see how it's supposed to be better than the 72 MC as the OP suggests.

I'm doing the KoS armor now, mentoring my main to a 65 Conjuror on my second account. Individual pieces aren't even as good as the level 52 Frostfell token armor (Which overall was better than T7 Mastercrafted) the Conjy was wearing, but once they have the 7 piece set bonus it should be. What small loss there may be will be worth it to get rid of 2 years worth of snowflakes

Ther bonus set is enormous with 7 piece, our new ranger linked it to me and it was better than T7 MC.

The KoS Cloud Mount Timeline armor set - is taken from the relic (raid) set (patterns) dropped from MOBs in Laboratory of Lord Vyemm.

Due to how fast peeps can level up - the lower tiers are not really needed except for those who pwr lock for AAs. The New Halas items are equivalent to TD and DLW set.

Mark armor - ya - only 3 pieces, so you can fill in with the drops from instances or buy the fabled raid gear now showing up in auction.

My tailor does very nicely outfitting a lot of guildies as the level up, but the requests start falling off after T-7. I still do nice with shard armor and am starting to get an occasion, but rare mark armor quest - mostly due to the number of marks needed for each piece. Outside of a handful, few peeps in our guild run that many instances. Since the release in February - 3 plus months ago, I have about 58 marks so far.

One of my characters lives in T-8 gear except for a few pieces picked up here and there. She does fine and doesn't have any problems handling the few instances and quests she's done in T-9.

Exactly, i may have made myself the rank 1 spaulder for the 7% potency. The 2 other parts are not better than what you can get from moderate/hard instance. The jewel are also non impressive.

Non xp lockers can live in handcrafted till KOS armor.

I can solo anything in sebilis and many people can do it, so sebilis tradable gear is now sold around one plat ( i usually transmut it unless i know a guildmate will use it).

The T9 BG gear does not seems to sell well (the MC one).

Globally if we forget shard armor (that all crafter can make) my job stops around 65 (kos time line).

Other crafters have a job brelium resistance set is almost compulsory for low end raids, expert spells are still in high demand (see the diamon/karbo prices), potions are as demanded as always etc ....
