annoying targetting bug

<p>when ur healing & get taunted or target somebody else on the other team, & ur trying to heal or cure urself, u get spammed with msgs about not being able to cast on them because theyre an enemy. it's like the game forgets that u can cast beneficials on urself while ur targetted on a mob.  any way to fix this? ive died numerous times because i was trying to use singles on myself & it'll be fine for 1 cast, then the next, it bugs out. i havent changed targets either, im still targetted on the same person.</p>

<p>I'm having alot of issues targeting as well, Mainly with click targeting. If I want to put my avoidance on a teammate I have to right click them to open the menu on them and then cast the buff with the menu up or I lose my target.</p>

<p>TBH... it is not a bug, but part of the game, let me see if I can tell you what I mean...</p><p>If you are healing some one it makes it hard for players to kill who ever you are healing, Taunts while annoying force you to target an enemy player who you can only hurt.. and not heal.</p><p>While some taunts just change your target some taunts in fact force you to target the player and then will not allow you to change your target. That in it's self is what people will see is a bug. When you are forced to target a player that you dont want.</p><p>I still say... there are just WAY too meny taunts in game, I mean whats the point in PvP if everone is forced to play PvE style... target tank spam heals while the tank goes from target to target... lame... But yes it does offer things for tanks to do still....</p>

<p>no...when ur targetted on somebody else or taunted on a mob, as long as ur not actually tryin to CHANGE ur target, u can still heal urself. this is not letting u even do that. or u get the, too far away or cant see target because theyre nowhere near u & they didnt taunt, just maybe hit a nuke or u tabbed to them. it still happens. it's EXTREMELY annoying when ur tryin to keep urself up because u have 6 ppl beating on u & u cant even heal urself.</p>

But... After that be ready as if there is a lot of tank classes they can just taunt you again.</p><p>While what your saying might not be what you mean... this is what I am getting from it. Not being able to target a friendly player, you or a team member to cast a heal after being taunted.</p><p>Also, there are some shout type taunts that do this. My swashbuckler has two taunts a single target taunt that forces target to change their selected target to me, and despells and interrupts. And the other is an AA shout down the sta line called Swear, Force target encounter to change their target to me, and Prevents target encounter from changing targets.</p>

<p>there's not always a det on u, & like i said, even happens when u happen to target somebody urself, like tab or f8 to target them, then somebody else smacks u or they do & u cant even heal urself because u get the cant see target, too far away, not a friend, etc...happens with EVERY class there is, not just those with taunts, so yes...i can be targetted on a mage, other healer, scout, fighter, doesnt matter...i CAN target myself & heal & cure myself that way, but it's a pita to have to do this every time or when u get hit really hard outta the blue, u sometimes dont have a chance to do something else before u spam.</p>

I accidently had my left mouse button set to select next PVP target. D'oh!</p>
