Uhhhh. Why isn't it, oh, I dunno... About the size of the Mystic or Defiler wolf? Because it is NOT as advertised.

It's a good-sized dog, don't get me wrong... For a dwarf.

It's a pup. A PUP. It's not a companion.

Everyone I know that got it, including myself, thought it would be as big as the Mystic or Defiler AA wolf pet. Then when you buy it, it's tiny.

Sooo... Can we change this? Make it as big as the Mystic/Defiler wolf pet?

Then on the other hand ...... perhaps SoE would allow those who wish bigger pets to size it large or size it small.... kinda like the illys are able to downsize their pet (personna).

Being a fan of all things Halasian, I had to adopt a Halasian Mauler Pup:

It seems too small, or too adult, one of the two.

This is what an arctic wolf pup OUGHT to look like:

Hehe. I was just coming to post this myself. Being a Barbarian in a Barbarian racial guild, and with Halas coming next week, I was really looking forward to the mauler. I have the inn room version and it's very big. The SC one is really too small. If it can be made bigger, I would really appreciate it, as would a lot of other players. As it is, I had to name mine "Runt."

Yes this! I expected a full sized wolf, not a puppy. I was dissappointed as well.

Same here. I feel ripped off. This was not what I thought I was getting.

I bought one of these for one of my Halasians and was disappointed with its size as well. If it had said Halasian PUP in the description I'd have expected it. I feel like this has been my worst Marketplace buy ever.

If these were increased in size I'd likely buy two more of them.

Gotta second/third/whatever on this one. With a name like "Halasian Mauler" I was expecting to get a big, fearsome white wolf tagging along at my knight's side. The little pup is cute but... not what I was expecting when I bought him. Please bump up his size to match that of the Mystic/Defiler wolf pet.

Thanks!

does the station item actually say "pup" in it? I forget and am not in game to check.

I bought it for my tiny tonga because she's a pet collector of sorts but was also disappointed that it was so stinkin' small. It does look like a miniaturized version of an adult though - kinda silly if you ask me. (alot like that darn Nathan kid in the Q Harbor) I'd much rather have the full sized dog like the mauler you can buy from the pet store.

Unless of course this pup eventually grows up? probably too much to ask for :p

Worst part is, they won't refund the SC spent on it.

To put it bluntly, it's false advertising. What you get is NOT what was advertised. NOTHING about the item in the store says it's a pup. The item you redeem to get the power doesn't say it's a pup. Neither the power nor the power's description says it's a pup. You don't know it's a pup until you summon the thing. If it was advertised as a pup I wouldn't have bought it. The whole reason I got it was for RP purposes for my character, and her companion is a full-grown wolfie.

I bought one of these for my Barbarian and thought it would be just like the Shaman wolves in size only to be let down the first time that I called forth his companion.

Thank you for looking into this for us Domino!

Hi folks, just wanted to give you an update.

After some discussion we have decided it would not be fair change the size of the pet, since there are no doubt some people who bought it and DO like the size, and would then be unhappy if it changed.

What we have done is to add in some additional descriptive text that should make it more clear that this is a smaller size wolf (as most of the cosmetic pets are).

We have also spoken to CS and they confirm that if anyone is unhappy with the size of their mauler, they will be happy to assist you in exchanging it for a different marketplace item of equal value.

In the future we'll endeavour to add some text that will be more clear about the size of the cosmetic pets. Apologies for any inconvenience, and hope that answers the concerns raised here and will prevent any similar issues in the future!

Ah, shame That's a valid point Domino, but why don't you add all the house pets already in game, normal size, as companion pets? My halfling would surely wander around with a pet pig, or two....I also want the normal size dogs/wolfs.

don't want to derail from topic, but.....another fantastic feature would be to let us choose a permanent look for our class pets, like changing the mystic's ghost dog to a white wolf.

I'd be satisfied with having a normal sized pig though...with kegs on his back....check my halfling Ironpie, he knows what pigs are for

The elf was shrunk down considerably, enough where you cant even see the elf, and many people were happy with the size it was before.

I have this pet on several alts and never had any clipping problems if thats why it was shrunken.

I was also told by a CS (even though I didnt ask) that I would not be refunded nor was I offered any exchanges like in the case of the mauler.

Ive been picketing station cash ever since because trust in the product has been broken for me.I cant trust anything I buy will remain as I bought it.

This is 5 personal accounts played solely by me talking that will not be buying anything anymore from station cash because my concern for this item was completely ignored and no resolution was given.

If you could find a way to discuss this item and restore it to its original glory I could trust in the product again and will happily defend station cash. Until that time has come, I will remain an unhappy former customer.
