When I finish installing the game software and the Station Launcher then proceeds to EQ2, my Station Launcher then begin to download 10.0GB of files. My internet isn't very fast and the downloading speed is approximately 70Kb/s, which will take around a week just to finish downloading all the file if I leave my computer open at all time. How do I resolve that?

ack!!! I can not help you with the Graphics card. But I can move this to a more appropriate place where others may be able to. As a trial member, you can post there as well

Did you download the game or just the patcher? The game is @10 gigs worth....

I'm not sure what you mean, but I install the game using the 2 discs, when I try to run the game it asks me to install the station launcher.

Having finished installing the launcher, I subscribed (then un-subbed via telephone due to this problem) and realized that it's downloading 10GB of file which really bewildered me.

It that the collection? If it is, then you should only have to install the SF expansion and whatever small fixes since then. Hopefully a TSR will get here soon to help you out!

Greetings,

Sadly, there isn't much we can do in relation to your download speed. You might want to consider the streaming client that will only download the files need by the game at that moment. That can be obtained through the following link:

http://launcher.station.sony.com/ga...ncher_setup.exe

Is this a laptop by chance? If so, you might want to consider taking it to a local coffee shop or another place with wifi broadband to download the game. They will probably have a significantly faster connection. Even if this computer isn't a laptop, if you had an older laptop then you could download it to that and then just transfer the files betwen the computers.

For your question about graphics cards, you can find the minimum/recommended requirements here:

http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bi...p?p_faqid=10562

Anything beyond the level suggested there should play the game fine.
