Finding the AA system a little frustrating....

<p>...because I've not purchased the latest expansion.</p><p>I've just subbed and have been reading up on Mystic's for what seems years (but is in actual fact only days lol) and there's one thing I can't find the answer to.</p><p>While researching the AA system I found many threads, particularly the sticky at the top of this forum which gave a rundown on the AGI line. In this thread it is made quite clear the STR is the stat to look for. However, the other sticky about Sentinel's Fate Mystic indicates this has now changed to WIS (which I'd sort of assumed to begin with actually since I always play healers in whatever form). Anyway, my confusion is, does this change in damage dealing stat effect those who have not purchased the Sentinel's Fate expansion? I know this may seem like a very silly question but I want to be clear before I get too far into it on which stat I need to be concentrating on for damage since I will solo most of the time.</p><p>From what I gather the newest expansion is a choice. I may, or may not, get it in the future so I'll need to take that into account as well @@</p>

<p>The references to STR being important are incorrect.  That guide was constructed prior to the release of Sentinel's Fate.  With the Sentinel's Fate release, everything a Priest does is based on Wisdom.  Auto attack damage, Spell damage, Combat Art damage . . . all based on Wisdom.  This is a game wide change, having nothing to do with the actual expansion itself, besides sharing a release date.</p><p>I'll try to squeeze in some time to update that section.</p>
