Apolgoies - back after a long while and battlegrounds seem fun hlp pls

<p>I tried to log in to the queue yesterday (alt+z).  When i tried to get in a game, I was quickly prompted that i did not meet the requirements.</p><p>Is it because i am not level 80+ ?? <p>It's your level.  The next GU, which is supposed to come out before the end of the month, will open up BGs to people below 80.</p>

<p>alright thanks for the info. I appreciate it.</p><p>I hope the min sys requirments wont be an issue for me,  just want to test it out to see who fun it is, maybe then ill decide to upgrade.</p>

<p>Since those requirements are not being posted on an official SOE site, you can only really take them as recommendations by the person reviewing the game.  The current official requirements are posted <a href="http://help.station.sony.com/cgi-bin/soe.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=10562&p_created=1098937132&p_sid=xEjUT7*j&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=1&p_srch=1&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX 3Jvd19jbnQ9MTY2LDE2NiZwX3Byb2RzPTIwJnBfY2F0cz0wJnB fcHY9MS4yMCZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc 2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9c3lzdGV tIHJlcXVpcmVtZW50cw!!&p_li=&p_topview=1" target="_blank">here in the Knowledge Base</a>.</p><p>That said, the minimum requirements listed are very very minimum, and I would expect that if you only meet those you may have issues with lag in the Battlegrounds (if not in the game in general!).  You certainly don't need the recommended requirements in the OP, although it may still be preferable to meet them.  But if you can play in the laggier areas of the regular game without any problems, you should be fine in the BGs.  If you lag a lot consistently in regular play, then you may want to consider upgrading something.  Just adding some memory can be an inexpensive way to get a fair increase in performance, depending on what you currently have.</p><p>If you want to try out the Battlegrounds now, you can always log into TestCopy and try it out, although with such a low population it may be hard to find enough people to actually start a BG <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  There is information about Test/TestCopy in the <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=441186" target="_blank">FAQ here</a>.</p>
