I recently joined the test server to help with the next live update but I started to have issues with the test launcher. I would have to attempt connections several times before I could get in but the normal EQ2 launcher would work fine on the regular servers. I figured I would just break down and use the Station launcher I downloaded in April. Now when i run the station launcher I always get the following errors: Error within CheckUpdateNeeded (this happens twice) Unable to load application files from c:program filessonyeverquest IIstationlaunchermain Do you want to retry? I do not normally install any of my games on the C: drive, I use a different partition for that. In this case I have EQ installed on my D: drive. Is this the problem? Are there instructions on installing this correctly or is it a click and go type of deal? This would not be a huge headache but now my old launcher is gone completely and the only way i can get in the game now is to click on the EQ2 executable in the game folder and that bypasses the launcher completely.

How would you go about configuring target directories and language when you can not even get the program to launch successfully? I did pick a language when I installed the application and changed the install directory when asked to point to my D drive but other than those 2 choices everything else was automatic. I went to the launcher page and looked at the forums there for issues and pulled another copy down but I think it is the same version. Same results either way. I will start the check disk, probably needs to be done anyway.
